What we do

Prices include travel, labor and standard hardware. The minimum for a visit is $135.

• Turnover rekey

  Every lock on the unit rekeyed to a new key, two keys per lock, tagged by unit. Old keys stop working.

  $135 first unit
  $95 each added unit, same address

• Extra locks on the same unit

  Back, basement and storage doors.

  $25 each

• Lock replacement

  Worn or mismatched knobs, levers and deadbolts replaced with new hardware, keyed to match the unit.

  $95 per lock, hardware included

• Mailbox locks

  Tenant mailbox locks changed along with the unit.

  $45 each, lock included

• Entry door fixes

  Main doors that don't close or latch on their own. We adjust the closer, latch and strike, and replace them if they're worn out.

  $85 per door
  New closer from $275

• Keypad locks

  Battery-powered keypad deadbolts, so changing a code replaces a rekey between tenants.

  $295 per door, lock included
  $135 with your own lock

Rekey prices are for Kwikset and Schlage locks. For other brands, we'll quote a new lock instead.

We don't do lockouts or car keys. If that's what you need, we'll point you to someone local who does.

How a turnover goes

1. Send the address

   Number of units, move-out date, and how many locks each unit has if you know.

2. Get a price and a day

   We confirm both in writing before anything changes.

3. We rekey and test

   Every lock on the unit gets the new key, and every key is tried in every lock.

4. You get the keys

   Keys tagged by unit, a key record for your files, and the invoice.
